About Riveredge Nature Center
Located on the banks of the Milwaukee River, Riveredge Nature Center is the “natural” place to have your next event. From a committee meeting of a dozen, to a banquet of 100, to a corporate outing for a couple hundred, Riveredge offers a space just for you. Indoor and outdoor celebrations become memorable events when surrounded by the natural beauty of Mother Nature.
The primary purpose of Riveredge Nature Center is to instill in people of all ages a curiosity and understanding of the Earth. The 370-acre Riveredge sanctuary serves to protect the local ecology, its plants and animals and their natural interactions. It offers the opportunity for the study and observations of nature while protecting it from disruption.
Each year around 8,000 students from over 80 schools come to Riveredge to experience the wonder of nature through our hands-on nature education programs.
Riveredge Nature Center receives no tax dollars and depends on membership, private and corporate contributions, grants and facility rentals to support our mission.
About Riveredge's Rentals
The highlight of Riveredge’s rental space is the Barn, equipped with a modern kitchen facility and adjacent yard. Offering comfortable seating for 90, the warm feeling of the timber walls and wood floor make this a perfect place for a banquet, dinner or awards ceremony. The adjacent yard offers a natural place for mingling or setting up a tent for a wedding or larger event.
Our classrooms and cozy Coop provide warm and private spaces for committee meeting, retreats or other smaller groups.
Rental includes parking, which accommodates 75 cars, along with non-exclusive use of the Riveredge trail system for hiking and/or skiing. Audio/visual and other meeting equipment are available and the use of the kitchen is included with a Barn rental.
Discounts are provided for nonprofits, members and corporate members of Riveredge. Consider us when planning your next meeting, retreat, wedding or party.
